Chapel of Light

Chapel of Light

The Chapel of Light is situated on the Ways of Life campus by Lake Edersee, Germany. This contemplative structure was developed in collaboration with the local church community. It features three inclined walls made from wooden frameworks, clad in steel sheets. Inside, recycled wood and lush plant life create a serene and inviting atmosphere. The chapel is a successor to the Open Mind Places in Referinghausen, Sauerland. Rooted in principles of inclusivity, social connection, contemplation, and ecology, the Chapel of Light represents a harmonious fusion of spiritual reflection and environmental awareness.
