Venice Harvest Pavilion

Venice Harvest Pavilion

On the occasion of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, the Venice Harvest Pavilion was designed and built on Sant’Erasmo, the agricultural island of the Lagoon. The site was selected within the fields of the only organic farm on the island, whose owner took part both in the construction process and in the activities hosted afterwards in the structure. The installation hosted workshops and discussions focused on the territory, agricultural production, and the preservation of natural heritage. The Venice Harvest Pavilion provided a platform for diverse perspectives, enabling the expression of concerns and the development of shared solutions for a sustainable future of the Lagoon. The entire project and its outcomes were later presented at the Speakers’ Corner at the Arsenale. .
