Ways Of Life
“Ways of Life” is a collaborative community project on the peninsula Scheid at Lake Edersee in the rural region of Waldeck-Frankenberg in Northern Hesse.
The goal is to design ecological and community-oriented buildings and outdoor spaces in an experimental way. In particular, the areas of living, working, ecology and culture are linked together. In addition to buildings for living and working, a studio and guest house, a seminar room, public common spaces, experimentation and exhibition areas, as well as permaculture gardens and regenerative green spaces are being built.
The opening workshop and exhibition, during experimenta urban 8 in Kassel and Scheid, was curated by Christoph Hesse and Neeraj Bhatia. The collaborative project is designed to be open and cross-disciplinary. New ideas and perspectives are always welcome.
